I started Waxology back in 2013 when I couldn't find a decent salon to get a "proper" intimate wax.
When it's done right, with the right techniques and products it can be easy and a lot more comfortable than you think! I wanted to start a waxing salon that made waxing accessible, friendly and with the best client satisfaction and I hope I have achieved all that! I am so proud of the team we have grown to be and so thankful to all our clients who have supported me over the years.

Assistant Salon Manager
Emily is the lovely bubbly one with the pink hair! Originally from Shropshire, Emily is the Queen of 5* reviews and has been with Waxology since October 2019. She will instantly make you feel comfortable and welcome and loves anything flamingo!

Assistant Salon Manager
Waxing with us since 2018, Danielle is super thorough, professional and friendly. Managing two kids and working part time in our busy Newcastle salon she is definitely a Super Mum and a Super Waxer...who also likes to throw some shapes on the dance floor!

Senior Waxing Therapist
Based at our Durham salon, Nicola is down to earth, warm and witty. In addition to waxing with us, she lectures part time in Beauty Therapy and so has years of experience in the industry - and also always has amazing nails!

Ella is the newest and youngest member of our team but is a true waxing professional. She is efficient and thorough and loves to chat so your appointment with her will be over before you know it - you'll have been too busy chatting to notice anything at all!

(Pronounced Ellie) Elle is also based at our Durham salon. Originally a client of ours for several years, she decided she wanted to be on the other side of the table and retrained (with us) to be come a waxing therapist. And of course with our expert training is absolutely flying and is a complete natural!

Our newest waxing expert at Waxology! When Ellie's not waxing, she's on the football field scoring goals. She's also an avid explorer and loves good food. And did we mention she's pursuing a degree in psychology? She’s definitely one busy lady!
Her warm personality and passion for waxing definitely make her a fantastic addition to our team. Ellie works from both our Durham and Newcastle salons.
